The adidas Crazy 1 returned to shelves last December to a fair amount of fan fair, reminiscing on the late Kobe Bryant’s first-ever signature silhouette with a bevy of Lakers-cured compositions. As the 2023-24 NBA, collegiate and high school seasons commence, the 3-Stripes will be outfitting the greater basketball community with a number of all-new color blockings heading into the fall and winter seasons.
In total, four contemporary colorways have been added to the renovated Crazy roster; “Vapor Blue”, “Black Out”, “Pale Ivory” and “Mint”. While the latter two ensembles haven’t been seen before, the blue and black options may be familiar to OG Kobe fanatics after their inaugural release back in 2014. Bright orange hits return to the space-age-themed silhouette, further illuminating the colorfully draped pairs whereas the off-white and black efforts stick to their monochrome roots.
The fall release schedule has since been kicked off by the “Pale Ivory” Crazy 1 – which is currently available via the store list below. The “Vapor Blue” model will follow suit on August 26th while the “Black Out” colorway has received a November 11th release date. Concluding the quartet, the bright “Mint” offering will release on December 2nd. While we await the aforementioned dates, the pairs can be seen in detailed imagery below.
In other news from underneath the 3-Stripes umbrella, the Yeezy 700 “Waverunner” releases on August 16th.
