Michael Le At the very beginning of 2023, the Swoosh introduced the Calm Slide. And though quite a bit different from your Jordan Retros and Nike SBs, the model is certainly a contender for the biggest surprise of the year. That was, however, until the reveal of the Calm Mule, which is sure to give its predecessor quite a bit of competition.
First revealed earlier this August, the Nike Calm Mule is the latest addition to the “Calm” family. And though distinct from the rest of the line-up in many respects, the design of the mule boasts quite a few similarities to the above-mentioned slides. But outside of incorporating an identical footbed and material composition, the model comes into its own with a sleek, rounded toe, a detachable strap, and a Fall-appropriate styles the likes of this newly-revealed “Sesame” colorway.
