Sneaker News When you think of Y-3 — and Yohji Yamamoto, for that matter — rarely does color come to mind. But with their recent collections, the label is attempting to change that perception, dressing their silhouettes in many a bright, bold colorway.
The adidas Y-3 Qasa, though most popular for its more understated appearances, is not at all exempt from this execution. Following up the “Orange” colorway released earlier this year, this newly-released pair boasts a vibrant “Team Rave Green.” Here, this Grinch-like hue is paired with a couple different shades of green, which alternate across the upper’s leather and synthetic fixtures. And whereas the branding, laces, and accompanying hardware follow suit in tone, the midsole opts for a coat of neutral white paint.
