Several of Nike’s Air Footscape styles has followed a rather familiar path for sneaker silhouettes that gained prominence long after its initial launch. The Air Footscape Woven, in particular, is no exception to that.
In fact, a lot of Nike’s most cherished classics experienced lukewarm reception the first go-around, only to gain that must-have status much later on. The Air Footscape Woven is certainly one of those silhouettes, establishing that story long before Chris Gibbs of Union decided to infuse the DNA into his Air Jordan 1 collaboration.
Arriving later this year during Nike’s planned Air Footscape Woven attack is a new “Fir” colorway, which simply attached green suede panel with the black woven. It sits above a sail-colored midsole to complete that lifestyle-friendly appeal.
Currently, a US release date for any of the known Air Footscape Woven releases is unknown, so stay tuned.
