The UNC Football Team Receives Air Jordan 12 PE Cleats

Holding an ostensible connection to His Airness, Michael Jordan’s alma mater at the University of North Carolina has been privy to an overwhelming number player exclusive colorways ever since his brand’s formation. After transitioning from Nike to the Jumpman banner in 2017, the Tar Heel football program has since been bestowed with a cleated version of the Air Jordan 12 for the upcoming season.

Much like the inline UNC series, the Air Jordan 12 cleats render a dominant crisp white upper, accented by striking “University Blue” hues that imbue the oval laces, collar lining, heel tab and iguana-print leather mudguards with the Chapel Hill synonymous tint. Underfoot, a torsional TPU plate keeps players contained on the gridiron – dawning a pitch-dark navy blue tint that exercises a metallic finish in tandem with the upper-most eyelets. What’s more, the added spikes underfoot are treated in either white and blue tones, crafting a true exclusive silhouette complete for the upcoming football season.

Enjoy a detailed look at the Air Jordan 12 “UNC Tar Heel” PE cleats below.

In other news from underneath the Jumpman banner, the Corporate Air Ship is scheduled to release on September 8th.
