While the New York Mets reside outside the confines of the 2022-23 pennant race, shortstop Francisco Lindor still has a fair amount to celebrate, such as the release of his second signature silhouette featuring two bespoke color blockings.
Initially revealed this past summer, New Balance has bestowed the two-time AL Golden Glove winner with his own turf trainer imbued with the Boston brand’s staple technology. Much like the brand’s on-court offerings, the Lindor 2 receives a FuelCell cushioning system underfoot unit while the remaining real estate adheres to the structure of his cleated version. A duo of crossing mid-foot straps the necessary support for a ground-out to second while Speedlace and hook-and-loop straps provide further lock-down capabilities.
Initially revealed in a simplistic greyscale palette, the Lindor 2 has since opened up the doors for an amalgamation of hues from the color wheel. As such, the latest two colorways receive a striking multi-color aesthetic, anchored by either white or black base layers. Pastels dominate the lightened pair with baby blue “N” logos and mint green accents while the pitch-dark offering resides on a striking orange and neon contrast.
The brand-new colorways of the New Balance Lindor 2 are currently available via the store list below for a retail price of $110. In the meantime, enjoy a detailed look at both pairs.
