Next up, the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Palomino” arrives this Saturday, September 2nd.
Picking up on the brand’s recent obsession with the supple brown tooling, MJ’s inaugural signature silhouette resides in a striking pitch-dark vein. Jet-black tumbled leather cures a dominant majority of the upper real estate, reserving the laces, mudguard, quarter panel, upper collar and winged insignia for a colorless ambiguity. What’s more, a premium panache enters the fold via the richly textured dark brown vamp, profile swoosh, collar overlay, heel foxing and tread. Underfoot, a cream-based midsole provides a much-needed lightened touch in tandem with the seldom appearance of golden metallic tongue tabs.
