Drake Debuts The Nike Book Chapter 1 In Concert

Over the Labor Day Weekend, Devin Booker has been slowly teasing his upcoming signature shoe through carefully timed videos on his Instagram. Comprised of camcorder-style compilations of footage throughout his summer, these short clips have culminated into the official unveiling of his first shoe – the Nike Book Chapter 1.

The design of the shoe is rather reflective of Booker’s refined “old soul” nature. The silhouette itself sees heavy influence from Nike Basketball models of the past, with many describing the shoe like a modern-day on-court Air Force 1 with some Kobe 4 DNA infused within. That said, there are some lifestyle-sensible directions that the Book 1 can go in to go alongside with the on-court performance as seen in the first “Wear Test” video.

The Nike Book Chapter 1 is revealed in a flooded orange colorway with suede on the entirety of the upper, with a special pair gifted to Drake to wear during his Phoenix stop for his ongoing “It’s All A Blur” tour. Matching the orange kicks is his signature vest and baggy pant ensemble that has been a common outfit throughout his nationwide tour.

Official release details of the Book Chapter 1 are currently under wraps, so enjoy this first look ahead and stay tuned for updates as we approach the official release of Nike’s newest signature shoe model.
