The adidas Crazy IIInfinity Surfaces In A “Triple Black” Colorway

Kobe Bryant’s time with adidas was very short-lived, as the athlete switched over to the Swoosh following the end of his six-year contract. But despite his departure from the Three Stripes family, the brand would continue to fondly recall their time with the Black Mamba, releasing many of his signature sneakers under new names. They would even go as far as to introduce a spiritual successor: the Crazy IIInfinity.

Debuted amidst the excitement of All-Star Weekend, the adidas Crazy IIInfinity evolves what came before, drawing a number of design cues from none other than the Crazy 1. And after making its retail debut only a couple of months ago, the silhouette is preparing to return to the shelves in an understated, “Triple Black” colorway. This pair — though simple at first glance — effectively takes us back to the 2001 NBA Finals, as it bears a close resemblance to the shoes worn by Bryant in one of his most iconic photos.

Enjoy a close-up look at the adidas Crazy IIInfinity “Triple Black” right here. While a release date has yet to be confirmed, it’s likely we’ll be seeing these at select retailers and adidas.com shortly.

In other news, official images of the J Balvin Air Jordan 3 have surfaced.
