As is customary for the Swoosh and its underlying banners, Halloween is never too far away. Recently, Jordan Brand began to pull the curtain back on some of its spookier offerings for later this fall, including this monochrome Air Jordan 1 Mid.
Cured in a tonal grey palette, the upper is composed of a duo of textures, featuring smooth suede and cracked nubuck. The latter renders a seldom treatment along the pewter grey vamp and base of the collar while the color-matched mid-foot panel draws upon a suede finish. Dark grey overlays add layered complexity to the mix alongside light grey laces and the visibly padded tongue. What’s more, the tongue tabs and jet-black profile swooshes are illuminated with a neon orange Jumpman logo and stitched trim, respectively.
Release details haven’t been shared quite yet. In the meantime, the Air Jordan 1 Mid “Grey/Black/Orange” can be seen below in official retail imagery.
In other news from underneath the Beaverton brand’s umbrella, the Air Force 1 “Linen” is expected to return in 2024.
