Nike Adds An Oversized Tongue To The Air Force 1 Low

feature image

Over the past few weeks, we’ve become privy to Nike’s latest kids-exclusive collection amplified by the appearance of elongated, skate-reminiscent tongues. Having been introduced via the brand’s All-Star roster of lifestyle models; ie the Dunk Low and Air Max 1, the heralded Air Force 1 now enters the mix via its low-top trim.

While the appearance of spruce-colored rope laces and bulbous profile swooshes are a mainstay feature throughout the pack, the Bruce Kilgore design opts for a Spring-inspired color blocking. Crisp white hues illuminate a dominant majority of the upper’s smooth leather real estate and are only further amplified by the vibrant honeydew hue that lands on the eyestay, inner lining, tongue, heel tabs and mid-foot swooshes. What’s more, a lasting swatch of neon is painted along the heel’s embroidered logo while the laces’ dark teal tint returns to treat the tread in conclusion.

Enjoy a detailed look at the grade school-exclusive Nike Air Force 1 Low “Big Tongue” below as we await further release details.

In other news from the Beaverton brand, the Jordan 12 “Cherry” recently surfaced in official retail images.
