Sneaker News Among Nike’s “Big Tongue” releases for kids, the Air Force 1 Mid presents the biggest and baddest one yet.
Elongated and padded to present an exaggerated look, this Air Force 1 Mid features a never-before-seen alteration as the padded material reaches upwards and extends to the medial and lateral ankles to strap in via fabric adhesives. The remainder of the silhouette stays true via a full leather construction, while durable nylon pads the mid-foot and houses a double-stitched Swoosh logo.
In time for Fall, Nike is offering a full Spruce Teal look, with touches of a light green on the Swoosh accents and a sail tinted outsole. This appears to be the consistent palette among the Big Tongue Pack as seen on the Dunk Low and Air Max 1.
