Michael Le Thanks much in part to the “Protection Pack,” the 2002R has very quickly become one of New Balance’s most popular silhouettes. And given the collection’s massive success, it was only a matter of time before the footwear brand added new colorways to its catalog.
Earlier this Summer, we caught an official glimpse at all four new additions to the “Protection Pack.” And compared to previous installments, these 2002Rs were much more rugged in their appearance, featuring a series of utilitarian upgrades. Alongside replacing its mesh for nylon ripstop, the shoes are equipped with lace toggles and wrapped in thick layers of either leather or suede.
Consisting of four different colorways — off-white, tan, olive, and navy — the latest New Balance 2002R “Protection Pack” is releasing ahead of the global launch on Sept. 21st exclusively via Concepts. This will take place at 11am ET both online and at the Concepts stores located in Boston and NYC.
