The PUMA MB.01 launched to much acclaim in late 2021, becoming one of the most successful first signature basketball shoes in recent memory. While LaMelo Ball will be suiting up this coming NBA season in his third signature silhouette, the brand’s basketball banner has continued to release new colorways of the inaugural model.
Draped in a tonal laser pink treatment, the MB.01 returns to shelves this week in an homage to October’s Breast Cancer Awareness month. The universal Breast Cancer ribbon joins LaMelo’s crisp white insignia at the tongue tab while the pair’s “Not From Here” and heel counter branding additionally shine in a colorless contrast to the titular environment. Aside from the latter, the model is cured completely in a neon pink tint, from the laces and mesh tongue to the TPU overlays, embroidered wings and semi-translucent outsole.
As a part of the release, Puma Hoops will be making a $20,000 donation to the Susan G. Komen organization. The Puma MB.01 “Breast Cancer Awareness” is scheduled to be released this Friday, September 29th. In the meantime, the pair can be seen in detailed imagery below.
For more on-court offerings, Anthony Edwards recently unveiled his first signature silhouette, the adidas AE1.
