From a collaborative run with Billie Eilish to returning a number of OG ensembles, the Nike Air Alpha Force 88 has returned from the archives spearheaded by a versatile yet restrictive number of offerings. As the original on-court tooling joins its 1980s counterparts in encouraging lifestyle wear, the low-top trim recently joined the silhouette’s clad-suede collection.
Infused with off-court energy, the staple full-leather upper has been ditched in favor of a supple suede texture. Joining the previously surfaced black and “Red Stardust” efforts, a tonal treatment of “Medium Grey” consumes the entirety of the upper in tandem with the slightly varying hues of the forefoot strap, ribbed collar and profile swooshes. Just like the past two efforts, a complimentary singular swatch of light cream ascertains the sole unit underfoot, accenting the greyscale treatment above while the heel clip and tongue tab branding finish with a jet-black contrast.
Enjoy a detailed look at the Nike Air Alpha Force 88 “Medium Grey” below while we await further release details.
For more retro basketball offerings, the Air Max CB ’94 “Gym Red” recently surfaced.
