Michael Le Having collaborated with Supreme back in 2022, Spyder should be well-known even to strangers of the outdoors. But despite their reputation, rarely has the brand received attention from the sneaker industry’s most notable. With the exception of Reebok, that is.
Together, Spyder and Reebok are bridging their respective expertise, crafting a capsule that’s equal parts footwear and apparel. On the latter end, the collection features long sleeve crewnecks made from recycled polyester fleece, hoodies complete with co-branding, and down jackets insulated with 700-fill duck down. The sneakers go blow for blow in regards to utility: the Zig Kinetica Edge 2.5 combines CORDURA with eVent membranes and a Vibram Ecostep outsole; the Nano X3 Adventure receives a winterized, weather resistant upgrade; and, finally, the Classic Leather Trail ski-inspired hardware and an outsole appropriate for the trail.
