Much like last year — which ended with a fruit-inspired Air Jordan 11 — 2023 will close out on yet another “Cherry” colorway, albeit this time the Air Jordan 12‘s own.
First released in 1997, the Air Jordan 12 “Cherry” debuted to quite the audience, joining MJ throughout the 1996-97 NBA season. And now, after almost fourteen years since its last appearance, the colorway is finally rumored to be returning to the shelves, potentially doing so this Holiday season. It’s likely, given Jordan Brand’s track record, that the pair will return in near original spec, with red, pebbled leather-constructed mudguards, matching midsoles, silver hardware, and white, quilted uppers.
The Air Jordan 12 “Cherry” is slated to return on October 28th via the Nike SNKRS app. Ahead, you’ll find official photos of the 2023 retro.
In other news, the Jordan 11 “Gratitude” releases for the whole family in early December
