Jared Ebanks Crocs have stormed onto the scene amidst the slip-on craze with carefully crafted collaborations with some of the most popular pop culture figures and fictional characters. From taking a trip to the swamps with Shrek to taking a flight over the futuristic Orbit City with The Jetsons, the Colorado-based brand has taken yet another road trip to Radiator Springs for a collaborative effort with everyone’s favorite tow truck, Mater.
Much like its Lightning McQueen counterpart from August, the latest Pixar joint effort transitions the full likeness of Tow Mater onto the wildly popular Crocs Clog construction. Embarking on an overwhelming amount of tractor-tippin’ fun, Mater’s windshield eyes, buckteeth and exposed engine are immediately harkened to across the forefoot while the heel achieves an exact reissue of the stickers and tires that ascertain Mater’s undercarriage. What’s more, the pivoting heel straps have been affixed with tow hook detailing while a clad “Slate Grey” treatment contrasts the tan-brown upper across the footbed and tread.
The Pixar x Crocs Clog “Mater” is currently available via the store list below for a retail price of $60. In the meantime, the pair can be seen in official imagery ahead.
