Sneaker News Drake’s fandom of the Kentucky Wildcats has been well documented over the years. From sitting courtside at big games and even participating in pre-game lay-up lines, Aubrey’s been a Wildcat fanatic for a minute, going as far as issues PEs for their legendary head coach John Calipari.
Now that Drake has his own signature line of footwear and apparel, he can show the love on a more personal note. He recently gifted the entire men’s basketball team a Nike NOCTA Glide PE made just for the program, dressed in their iconic royal blue and white. A bright university yellow appears on the traction pods on the outsoles, while the school’s UK logo sits inside one of the midsole pods on the lateral side.
Given that the shoe was inspired by the Zoom Flight 95, the NOCTA Glide is presumed to be suitable for the court. It’s very possible that the players could lace these up for a game, so keep an eye out this season.
