Sneaker News Although typically a summer-time activity, Nike is firing up the grill with this special “Cookout” colorway of the Nike JA 1 signature shoe.
Presumably inspired by one of Ja Morant’s favorite family activities, this upcoming kids-only release dreams of the cookout — a staple of the South. Based on a blue and orange colorway, this JA 1 fires up the flame on the Swoosh logo and a custom logo shield on the tongue, with “On Fire Since ’99” alluding to Ja’s year of birth sitting below some essential grilling tools. White speckles of salt cover light grey ash midsole to complete the look.
Ironically, this Ja 1 “Cookout” is dropping this December. Stay tuned for these to become available in the final month of the year for $102.
