Salehe Bembury’s “Yolk” Crocs Pollex Clog Sees Wider Release On November 17th

Salehe Bembury‘s Crocs initiative has gone from one-off project to a design platform titled the Pollex Pod. Although the partnership continues to explore designs and categories, it keeps churning out new color schemes of its most popular offering: the Pollex Clog.

With fall fully in motion, the Los Angeles-based designer and his Colorado-headquartered partner have unveiled a vibrant “Yolk” style of the Crocs slip-on. Surely inspired by the yellow part of an uncooked egg, the latest from Bembury falls in line with other nature-informed ensembles that’ve formed his design catalog over the last three years. The elevated Clog by Crocs features all of its standard cues – fingerprint-reminiscent upper, perforations around the toe, buckled strap at the heel – but flashes them in an eye-catching yellow. The “Yolk” Pollex Clog by the New York-born artist brings a refreshing touch to his lineup given recent muted “Como,” “Niagara,” and “Horchata” makeovers.

Enjoy official photos of the “Yolk” pair ahead. Salehe Bembury’s next Crocs project lands via beaspunge.com on November 9th at 9am PST (12pm EST). The slip-on is sure to see a wider release through crocs.com at a later date.
