The Jordan MVP 678 Imagines An Alternate “DMP” Aesthetic

Is there any more a defining moment in sports than winning a ‘chip? For Michael Jordan, six moments in six tries is just the start of the argument when it comes to establishing the one and only GOAT of basketball, which is why this upcoming colorway of the MVP 678 makes plenty of sense.

While the “Defining Moments” aka DMP colorway is typically black and gold, white and gold is a pairing that fits the bill. Inspired by the first three Air Jordan models worn by Michael Jordan’s NBA Finals MVP awards (the Air Jordan 6 in 1991, Air Jordan 7 and 1992, and Air Jordan 8 in 1993), the MVP 678 is a proper homage to that first three-peat of championships, done up in a colorway that only exudes the early summer triumphs at the end of the NBA Playoffs. Complete with an all-white upper, golded accents, and a shimmering gold mudguard that replaces the wild pattern from the AJ8, this MVP 678 is easily the most elegant yet.

This latest version of the hybrid model is set to arrive on nike.com soon for $155.

In other Jumpman updates, the Jordan 4 “Olive” is set to drop this weekend in full family sizes.
