Since 2008, the Jordan 6 Rings has been promoting Michael Jordan’s winning legacy. As the years have gone by, the hybrid design has taken on a number of ensembles that blur the lines between it and the six Air Jordan models it takes after.
With 2023 coming to an end, Brand Jordan’s 15-year-old creation has taken on a Chicago Bulls-friendly “Black/Cement Grey/University Red/White” color scheme. The color palette isn’t new to the Jordan 6 Rings – or other fusion Jordans for that matter – but its arrangement on the latest style brings it closer to #23’s signature model than other offerings. The Air Jordan 11-inspired upper takes on a pitch-dark look that’s complemented by ruby-colored branding at the tongue and heel. The shiny patent leather sits above a grey midsole that creates an aesthetic reminiscent of the Air Jordan 4 “Bred Reimagined” set to drop next February. Remaining components across the tooling keep things on-theme with the remainder of the “Bred” (“Black/Red”) makeup, proudly boasting Air Jordan DNA.
Enjoy official photos of the fusion design ahead. No firm nike.com launch date has been disclosed by the brand as of this writing, but that’s likely to change at the top of 2024. The Jordan 6 Rings is priced at $170 USD.
