Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Mocha” Arrives August 2024

feature image

The Air Jordan 1’s low-top trim has appeared at nauseum throughout the past year and a half, consistently constructing a stream of inline releases while OG compositions begin to appear more frequently. Alongside the silhouette’s upcoming “Shadow Grey” and “Metallic Blue” efforts next year, the Air Jordan 1 Low OG will be embarking on one of the most sought-after GR colorway series from the past few years – according to sneaker insiders zsneakerheadz/sneakerfiles.

Introduced in high-top form in 2020, the highly-touted coffee-style color-blocking returns to the Beaverton brand’s OG toolings with a summer-ready aesthetic next August. Differing slightly in shade, the buttery soft nubuck leather heel counter and tab execute a rich “Palomino” treatment in contrast to the jet-black winged insignia, inner lining and profile swoosh that sprouts from the fall-friendly hue. The remaining upper real estate explores a strict monochrome color blocking as a crisp white leather base layer, tongue and midsole juxtapose the black-toe construction, tread and laces.

The Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Mocha” is tentatively slated to release on August 21st, 2024 in full-family sizing. While we await official imagery, a first look at the pair’s expected color blocking can be seen below in mock-up imagery.

In other news from the Beaverton brand, the A Ma Maniére Jordan 5 releases again on November 27th.
