“Red Stardust” Consumes The Nike Air Pegasus ’89

Last November it was revealed that the iconic Nike Air Pegasus ’89 would be returning in a true-to-form reissue of the original circa 1989 model. Having been prepared in both OG ensembles and contemporary colorways, the Air-infused silhouette had added a bespoke bright pink initiative to the model’s growing roster of unreleased options.

Much like its upcoming Dunk Low and Air Max 1 counterparts, the low-top trim extends a singular “Red Stardust” hue across the suede, mesh and neoprene constructed upper. “Dark Pony” then accents the profile swooshes and the heel’s embroidered Nike Air branding, providing the clad composition with a striking contrast while remaining ingrained within a tonal palette. Pops of “Phantom” achieve a near-white neutral compliment along the midsole and tongue tabs while a deeply dark grey tread finishes off the monochrome pairing underfoot.

Currently, the Nike Air Pegasus ’89 “Red Stardust” is scheduled to be released sometime in the Spring of 2024. While we wait, the pair can be seen ahead in detailed imagery.

In other news from the Beaverton brand, the Jordan 4 SE Craft “Olive” releases on November 18th.
