Jovani Hernandez According to adidas CEO Bjørn Gulden, the Three Stripes has “a lot in the pipeline.” One such item in the pipeline includes the women’s adidas Gazelle Indoor “Green Spark.”
Currently available at select retailers outside the U.S., the sneaker delivers more of what old and news fans alike have come to love about the adidas Originals model. A soft, high-quality suede covers the bulk of the upper, indulging in titular “Green Spark” flair. An “Almost Yellow” hue interrupts the green ensemble in the form of profile 3-Stripes and Achilles’ Heel panels, evoking the thought of Spring 2024 as Winter 2023 begins to creep in across the globe. “Gazelle” text on the lateral mid-foot deviates in a brighter yellow hue, but doesn’t detract much from the remainder of the shoe. Performance-inspired tongues keep things simple in an off white color that complements the leather inner lining well. Underfoot, the semi-translucent sole unit reprises its typical gum brown finish, speaking to the model’s origins in handball.
