Few colors harken as effectively to a brand as “Volt” does with Nike. Routinely accenting the Beaverton brand’s expansive roster of footwear, the titular highlighter hue has now landed on the latest kids-exclusive Air Force 1 with a winterized tooling.
Creating the second half of the Beaverton brand’s latest grade school-sized pack of footwear, the Bruce Kilgore design opts for a pitch-dark compliment to the silhouette’s crisp white counterpart. Here, the clad tumbled leather upper and sole unit are doused in a singular jet-black tint while providing the debossed profile swooshes with a litany of repeating checks. Accompanying the accenting laces, tongue, inner lining and lace loops, the “Triple-Black” treatment merges a bit of the Black AF1 energy with the youth. Illuminating the midnight aesthetic, a titular collection of “Volt” contrasts animate the midsole’s AIR lettering alongside the tongue tab logos and miniature swooshes at the forefoot and quarter.
The grade school exclusive Nike Air Force 1 Low “Black/Volt” is currently available via the store list below at Finish Line and JD Sports for a retail price of $95. In the meantime, the pair can be seen below in official images.
