Here Are The Yeezy Pods On Foot

Kanye West's first sneaker in the post-adidas era is available for $20.

Here Are The Yeezy Pods On Foot

The Yeezy Pods by Kanye West are a slip-on sock-like shoe with rubber pods on the outsole. They are meant to appear as exactly that: wearable socks. The shoes were first available in mid-December for $200 directly through Yeezy.com, but on February 14th, 2024, Kanye West dropped the price down dramatically from $200 to a very affordable $20. They can be purchased HERE. Those who initially purchased the Yeezy Pods at $200 were sent refunds in the amount of $180. As of May 9th, 2024, the YZY Pods are still available for $20 and will take up to four weeks to ship. Every other product available on the Yeezy site is also priced at $20.

Yeezy Pods

The Yeezy Pods are officially Kanye West’s first sneaker release since he was let go by adidas. In October of 2022, adidas officially cut ties with Kanye West after the artist’s repeated anti-semitic remarks on social media. Throughout 2023, adidas and Kanye came to an agreement to liquidate the remaining stock of footwear, with proceeds going to charity. In November 2023, another adidas Yeezy release event was scheduled, but those plans were nixed likely due to the ongoing conflict in Gaza.

Earlier in 2024, adidas announced that it would sell off the remaining adidas Yeezy stock; adidas projects €250 million in sales for 2024. Official drop information has not been revealed yet, but will be updated on a rolling bases on our Yeezy Release Dates page.

The Yeezy Pod are available now in three sizes (1, 2, and 3) and the MSRP is set at $20 (formerly $200).

Ye’s continously minimal approach to footwear has been making its rounds on social media, appearing on the feet of Nobu Matsuhisa, the founder of the renowned high-end restaurant chain Nobu, in late 2023.
