Go Kite Flying With Nike And The Air Force 1 Mid “Year Of The Dragon”

Nike’s annual Chinese New Year collection is one of the broadest from the Beaverton brand, spanning both lifestyle and performance silhouettes alike. While the “Year of the Dragon” has been readily documented, this GS Air Force 1 Mid enters the mix just before the new year.

Exploring a neutral-tinted upper that mirrors the silhouette’s varsity-style efforts, a vibrant cream hue surrounds the “Coconut Milk” base layer throughout the model’s overlays and ankle strap with crisp white accents illuminating the entirety of the midsole before pairing off across the laces. While the layered treatment is certainly inviting, the model’s mainstay embellishment falls at the heel tab and counter that depicts an individual kite-flying with an embroidered dragon head ascertaining the tab. Elsewhere, the latter’s crimson red infusion stretches to the profile swooshes and inner lining.

Enjoy a detailed look at the grade school exclusive Nike Air Force 1 Mid “Year of the Dragon” below as we await the pair’s debut next month.

In other news, the Travis Scott Nike Attack releases on December 19th.
