The Air Jordan 2 has been riding the wave of its revitalization for close to two years now, with no end in sight from the Beaverton brand as new styles of Michael Jordan’s second signature silhouette continue to appear. Recently, the high-top model appeared in a bespoke greyscale outfit exclusively for the ladies.
Alongside the model’s recently revealed effort featuring metallic snakeskin overlays, the AJ2 continues to cater to the Jumpman banner’s female audience – this time in a straight-forward color blocking. Leaning into the silhouette’s premium tooling inspired by Italian craftsmanship, the mid-top model is cured almost exclusively in a warm neutral hue. Save the jet-black tint of the pebble grain mid-foot overlay, heel tab and accents along the tread, the clad-leather real estate adheres to a strict “Sail” tint that’s complemented by a “Coconut Milk” shaded heel counter.
The women’s exclusive Air Jordan 2 “Sail/Black” is expected to be released on January 10th, 2024 for a retail price of $175. In the meantime, the pair can be seen in first-look imagery ahead.
