The Nike GT Jump 2 Strides Into A Clean Monochrome Makeup

Built for high-flyers and low-post bullies, the Nike Zoom GT Jump 2 has arrived in a limited run of colorways since its debut this past summer. Fueled by a spring-board React cushioning system with three separate pockets of Zoom Air, one of the Beaverton brand’s most comfortable on-court solutions recently arrived in a readily adaptable monochrome treatment.

Thanks to the thick embroidered detailing of the upper, the GT Jump 2 adds a bit of nuance to otherwise simplistic color blockings. Embarking upon a tonal gradient, the tongue, collar, inner lining and quarter overlay are dipped in a strict jet-black shade that continues unto the profile swooshes. Met with a collection of greyscale accents at the mid-foot and heel, the latter is lightened through the sole unit’s clad-white treatment.

The Nike GT Jump 2 “Black/White” is expected to release in the coming weeks for a retail price of $180. In the meantime, the pair can be seen in detailed imagery ahead.

For more basketball offerings, the Kobe 4 “Black Mamba” releases on December 27th.
