The Jordan Stadium 90 Clocks In for “The Year Of The Dragon”

Jordan Brand's newest lifestyle model gets some CNY shine.

The Jordan Stadium 90 Clocks In for “The Year Of The Dragon”

As the sneaker community begins to celebrate the start of the Chinese New Year and the “Year of the Dragon in early February, Jordan Brand provides us with a well-rounded lineup of eight unique sneakers spanning seven different models, building on its well-established annual tradition.

This year’s pack features brand staples as well as some under-the-radar models that rarely see the limelight, one of which being the Jordan Stadium 90. The Stadium 90 debuted earlier this year and has had a fairly steady rollout of GR basics, but Jordan Brand’s inclusion of the new model in its CNY festivities suggest it’ll continue its run in 2024.

The sneaker follows the same color and design scheme as its counterparts, featuring sail-colored suede on the toe and foxing to complement a premium green scale-patterned leather swoosh. The shark-tooth pattern on the quarter overlay, a hallmark adopted from the Jordan 5, is debossed into the suede to create a premium look and feel.

These drop in January, possibly as an Asia-exclusive release. Stay tuned as Jordan Brand brings the rest of the collection to market in the coming months. In the meantime, check out more official images of the Stadium 90s below.
