Earth-toned suedes are a match made in heaven for 1980s era retro basketball shoes. The Air Jordan 1 demonstrates just that as we get a first look at this upcoming women’s exclusive release dubbed the “Dusted Clay”.
Jordan Brand gathers familiar shades of nature, with Dusted Clay joining the primarily Cacao Wow brown on the overlays, ankle padding, Swoosh, and even the attached Nike Air hangtag. Burnt Sunrise — a faded orange huge — captures the ankle collar, heel, and rubber outsole to finish off the attractive color-blocking. It’s these types of arrangements that make the Air Jordan 1, Dunk, and Air Force 1 so attractive — it’s just a shame that sizing will be arguably limited as these are a women’s release.
