Devin Booker’s Latest Nike Book 1 PE Inspired By His Kobe 5s From His Iconic Pose

Devin Booker’s incredible run of Player Exclusives continues with this latest Book 1 inspired by his iconic pose from the pivotal 2020 NBA season. This moment in time came in August of that year when the Suns guard hit a game-winner against the Clippers, landed on his back, and tilted his head upwards looking expression-less to his defender. On his feet — a Nike Kobe 5 Protro made just for him.

His latest Book 1 PE references that highlight as it features the same orange/white two-toned color-blocking on the upper, patterned interior lining, and icy translucent sole. Book rocked his latest 1-of-1s on Monday night against the Bulls, and although he didn’t deliver his usual stat-line, PHX still came through with the win.

After the super-limited launch of the Nike Book 1 at Art Basel last December, release info for the Book 1 signature shoe to the masses has still been undisclosed as Nike has yet to reveal its plans. As of now, the Book 1 “Ashen Slate” is expected to release sometime this Spring.
