The Nike Air Huarache Runner Embraces An All Orange Colorway

Another monotone look for the retro-inspired runner.

The Nike Air Huarache Runner Embraces An All Orange Colorway

Tinker Hatfield’s original 1991-born Nike Huarache may not be considered viable from a performance running standpoint anymore, but silhouette retains its relevance through its iconic design and continued influence over new Beaverton brand inventions. Nike debuted the Nike Air Huarache Runner last summer, a modified iteration that communicates the same beloved look but in a slimmer, more modern cut.

The new silhouette drops the once revolutionary sock-lined upper in favor of a more traditional build, yet still complete with stretchy mesh and a cushioned inner sleeve for premium comfort. The Huarache’s unmistakable heel counter makes its usual appearance, positioned closer to the base on Runner iterations to better align with the shoe’s lower profile. This particular pair calls in an all orange upper, with suede paneling on the toe and mudguard complemented by slightly darker leather material towards the eyelets. Underfoot, the traditional Huarache midsole appears in white, complemented by a gum outsole to complete the design.

No release date has been set, but expect a drop in the coming months as Nike continues to add to its Spring 2024 offerings. In the meantime, enjoy official images below.
