Striking while the iron is hot, adidas US Football is set to debut his second signature shoe just days after he commanded the Chiefs to a come-from-behind victory.
Pat Mahomes’ first signature shoe, the adidas Mahomes Impact Flx 1 training shoe, debuted back in Fall of 2021; a series of colorways have released steadily since that first launch. According to adidas, they worked with Mahomes for over a year to perfect every detail of the Mahomes 2 including the timepiece symbol on the footwear and even the zippers on the hoodies from the apparel collection.
The newly designed adidas Mahomes 2, which is currently expected to hit retail on February 15th, kicks things off with elegant golden acents on the overlay that encircles the lace eyelets back to the heel. Matching metallic gold appears on the external bumpers on the heel as well as the midsole accent at the fore-foot, while clear translucent outsoles sit at the bottom to support the all-grey package. Mahomes’ personal logo is proudly stamped on the tongue.
A full collection of colorways will likely release throughout 2024, but you can get your hands on the three-time Super Bowl MVP’s signature shoes beginning on Thursday, February 15th on adidas and on the adidas App.
