The Nike Air Max 1 continues its momentum in the start of this year, unvieled in a ton of accessible styles as the true celebration of the line nears closer and closer. Adding to that array of widely available options, the “Platinum Tint” Air Max 1 emerges as a wear-ready, easily styled edition set to hit stores in women’s sizing.

The colorblocking here is traditional rather than experimental, selecting a few shades of that neutral tone and alotting it them to familiar corresponding spots. “Pure Platinum” hits the suede medial swashes, with “Light Smoke Grey’ donning the mudguard and Swoosh. Finally, leaning into the faux-vintage wave, the midsole is in “Sail” to add a dash of that aged look. Possibly the most novel detail is a pair of hangtags that come with the shoe. Both use chainlink fastening, with one a simple Swoosh logo, and one a sized-down metallic reproduction of an Air Max 1.

Formulations in grey and white are arguably the most frequent choice for the Air Max 1, be it in “Bone” last week, “Light Smoke” last December, or a myriad of updates to the iconic “Wolf Grey.”

Retailing for $140, the “Platinum Tint” Air Max 1 in the full gambit of women’s sizing from 5W to 12W. Anticipate a rollout of this pair to retailers and Nike.com in the coming weeks.

Another women’s release stole headlines last week with the announcement of the Megan Thee Stallion Nike Air Max 97 “Hot Girl Systems.”
