The Nike Giannis Immortality 3 “Ode To Your First Love” Celebrates Soccer

Giannis Antetokounmpo’s signature shoes come consistently packed with tie-ins to his life and upbringing, a claim made evident on both numbered and budget-line collections. Now following a newly surfaced Nike Zoom Freak 5 that tributes professional soccer is a Giannis Immortality 3 of the same design theme, just in time for the second half of the NBA season.

A blue mesh base sets the tone on The Freak’s next cost-friendly pair, matching the look of the Greek National Team’s jersey notably worn by Giannis in old pictures with his late father, who played pro soccer in Nigeria. Reflective material similar to that of retro soccer boots takes over the Swoosh and tongue detailing, framing the athlete’s signature “GA” logo which appears in green stitching. Down below, the design is completed with a white midsole atop black tread, calling back the palette’s light green hue for brief cameos on the heel and underfoot.
