The Nike Air Max 90 LV8, introduced towards the top of the year as a fresh take on the old mainstays, has been rather modest in the amount of colorways it’s launched with. Beginning with a Valentine’s Day centric beige and rose outfitting, the following couple of pairs leaned on the classic formula of its parent model. Now, looping back to that original territory, a pair in a clean “Red/Sail/Pink” arrangment has emerged, trending towards a release as we near spring.

For those not familiar with the LV8, the one major change from mainline AM90s is immediately apparent, a doubled up air unit and correspondingly jumbo midsole. Given that as the one predominant difference, the colorblocking on the rest of the shoe stays consistent with what we’ve all become familiar with. Rosy pink & red shades take to the midsole, mudguard and lined lace panels, with the rest of the shoe primarily dressed in a minimal sail & white assortment.

Where this release really stands out, though, is in the medial Swoosh, which takes on an iridescent, reflective shift in its materials. The rainbow tones that follow the change in medium are resultantly low-key, but still serve well as a central highlight to help these become all the more eye-catching.

No concrete release date has been set for the Nike Air Max 90 LV8 “Sail/Red/Pink,” but as with the past drops for the shoe, anticipate a steady rollout in the near future. They’ll arrive in a women’s size run and carry a retail price of $140.

In some more high-profile collab news, the Naruto Crocs officially release tomorrow after months of teaser images and promo.
