The Nike SB Ishod has proved since its 2021 introduction to be one of the premier offerings out of Oregon’s skate department, popular among its target demo and even achieving some crossover success outside of that realm. Earlier this year, we got news of the second iteration, the Nike SB Ishod 2, which brings influence from other Nike lines into its construction. With the first two colorways continuing the run of success the 1.0 achieved, each successive edition is expected to be hotly anticipated- and we’re getting a look at the next step.
Via Alaska’s Boarderline Legacy, photos have emerged of a pair in “White/Obsidian,” a slight variation on the initial navy-heavy look they debuted with. It’s a shade off of being a true inverse version, the navy lace outline replaced by cream, while the off-white suede mudguard is conversely replaced with that “Obsidian” shade.
The reigned-in palette mirrors the intended purpose of the 1.0, occupying both a skate and lifestyle lane. For those with a keen eye, though, a pop of color comes at the very bottom of the shoe, with the Air Max unit decked out in aquamarine, a section of the sole right below in baby blue, and a gum sole that’ll strike familiar for long-time SB devotees.
As of right now, information is limited about this release, but the next wave of Ishods are available now in certain skate shops. Check the ones in your area for specific info on how to get your hands on a pair. Outside of that, a wide Nike.com release is expected in the near future. As more details become available, we’ll be sure to keep you current on the Nike SB Air Max Ishod “White/Obsidian” and any other colorways coming alongside them.
