The Nike Air Pegasus 89, as its model name suggests, is one of the longest standing Nike running models in their storied history. Re-launched in OG fashion a couple of years back, they’ve pretty seamlessly transitioned back into the fold as a mainline offering, often used a canvas for spotlighted, trademark colors. As “Dusty Cactus” builds momentum as a signature Nike hue for ’24, the Air Pegasus 89 is the latest to take on the teal-adjacent shade.

Though it may read as unusual compared to other Nike mainstays, the arrangement here where the sole splash of color comes entirely on the nylon & mesh rear sections is pretty standard for the Air Pegasus 89. The “Sport Blue” Air Pegasus 89 from last year stand out as a somewhat recent comp, but it’s a trend you’ll see running through a ton of ’89 styles made widely available.

Nonetheless, the sneakers in question here play things pretty traditional outside of that “Dusty Cactus” hue, riding with neutral grey, white and black accenting outside of those back panels.

No date is attached to the Nike Air Pegasus 89 “Dusty Cactus,” but a retail price of $100 is. In lieu of a specific drop time, anticipate seeing these at retailers and on Nike.com as we get closer to spring. Head further down for an official suite of images.

Adorned in very similar fashion, check out the Nike Air Max 97 “Glacier Blue.”
