It appears that the Instapump Fury is Reebok’s go-to silhouette when it comes to elaborate design themes, hardly a surprise considering the model’s abstract build. Paris FW24 saw the debut of an out-of-the-box Noir Kei Ninomiya collaboration decked out with air pumps, now joined by an inline “Sashiko” denim pair dropping in Asia this weekend. This delivery boasts a form of decorative reinforcement stitching popular in Japan, recognized by most sneakerheads through popular Nike Dunk and Jordan Brand inventions.
Multiple textiles appear on this Reebok pair, the most notable being a woven base layer complete with full-length white stitch patterns. Dark selvedge denim defines the shoe’s pump-equipped cage and toe cap, fittingly treated with distressed piping to reflect the look of heavily worn jeans. The inclusion of tongue and heel rope pull tabs makes the no-lace shoe even more accessible, while tan sock lining matches the essence of the gum soles underfoot.
The Reebok Instapump Fury “Sashiko” releases in Asia this weekend, but no word on a global drop date has been made public. Given past Instapump releases, this pair could very well be an overseas exclusive. In any case, enjoy detailed images below and keep an eye on our Sneaker Release Dates page as we provide updates.
