As St. Patrick’s Day nears closer, it’s the time of year to give serious consideration to getting some green in your wardrobe. If that isn’t top of mind, luckily Reebok has you covered. They’ve taken their Reebok Classic Leather silhouette, and in addition to a material revamp that gives them their “83 Vintage” subhead, they’re gracing them with a heavy dash of emerald.
First, the construction of these sneakers. Though the Classic Leather has never stayed off of store shelves for too long, Reebok “brought back” the OG silhouette a little while back. The shoes trade in for full-grain leather and suede, aiming to get as close to the original configuration as possible.
Onto the colorway. Though “Green/White” is most frequently associated with the adidas Stan Smith, Reebok has certainly had their time in the sun with the timeless color combo. Here, green is a constant contrast shade, pervasive in its application on the outsole, the split stripe branding, heel cup and sock liner. Outside of those portions, the Classic Leather stays in staid territory, utilizing a mix of grey and white for its dominant tones.
The Reebok Classic Leather 1983 Vintage is up for purchase now on Reebok.com, carrying a $100 retail price and available in extended sizing from M3.5 to M13.
On the other side of the sneaker world, the Jordan Release Dates calendar is heating up with the Jordan Summer 2024 slate now revealed.
