Bronny James’ USC Trojans have been on something of a tear recently, amassing a vastly improved 4-2 record in the last month and closing out their regular season by thumping No. 1 seed hopeful Arizona. It’s a great note to go into their postseason with, and as a means of celebrating, LeBron James is gracing the team with two player-exclusive versions of his Nike LeBron 21.
This headline comes quite literally on the heels of the Nike LeBron NXXT Gen USC PE that Bronny rocked over the weekend. Posted by @uschoops on Instagram, the perks now extend beyond the nuclear family, with members of the team all evidently being gifted these. Palette-wise, no one should be too shocked by the layout of either pair of kicks, taking on a home & away sort of interpretation on the Trojan’s cardinal & gold trademark tones.
Driving home the team-specific allusions, they bear alternating, co-branded decals on the tongues between the King’s signature and the USC logo. As one final touch of detail, the lower third of both pairs is exactly alike, an ice blue sole and speckled midsole providing the foundation for both burgundy and white sneakers.
While a wide release of these USC kicks remains doubtful, you can enjoy a full gallery of official shots below.
Though LeBron has heated up discussion of his sneakers in the past weeks, another Nike athlete is set to steal the spotlight next month as a detailed look at Kevin Durant’s KD 17 have been revealed.
