With the two pack of “Light Orewood Brown” and “Ash Green” releases earlier this month, the Nike ACG Exploraid made its triumphant return, at long last fulfilling the wishes of ACG cult followers everywhere. As we move past their initial debut, their future as a mainline offering is becoming clearer with their next colorway of Summit White/Gym Red/University Red.

While the previous Exploraid colorways relied on outdoorsy palettes, this upcoming release stays consistent with a recent influx of ACG drops that feature all-white uppers and uni-colored soles. Possibly charting forward a different kind of style for the sneaker, this pair relies on a marked split between the two titular shades, with a single-toned upper hard breaking to Gym Red underfoot. The construction hasn’t changed, yet the white-on-white de-emphasizes the layered composition up top and makes them an easier fit as a techwear statement piece rather than a final touch to a hiking outfit.

Importantly, the connection to nature remains in their physical materials. Bearing the pinwheel “Next Nature” logo on their insole, it speaks to the sustainable materials carried through in each new release of the Nike ACG Exploraid.

The Nike ACG Exploraid “Summit White/Gym Red/University Red” is expected to hit shelves this summer at a $140 price point. You can find several detailed images below courtesy of JD Sports.

Elsewhere in the All Conditions Gear line, the Nike ACG Rufus makes its own re-entrance deeper into Spring.
