The Nike Air Max Dn “Particle Grey” Releases On May 3rd

A subtle nod to an OG Tuned Air colorway.

The Nike Air Max Dn “Particle Grey” Releases On May 3rd

Nike continues to build anticipation for Air Max Day on March 26th by revealing a seemingly endless variety of new Air Max Dn designs. The Beaverton brand’s latest air-equipped invention is already set to release across a dozen colorways later this month, now supplemented by a “Grey/Orange” pair for Summer 2024 that echos classic Tuned Air treatments.

Eyes are first drawn to sparse yet impactful orange hits on the shoe’s quarter and heel TPU panels, borrowing a theme from the OG Sunset Air Max Plus that helped pioneer the rise of Tuned Air shoes. While the Dn doesn’t feature the same multi-chambered air tech as that model, its namesake and overall design language serve to create clear connections between the two, especially on this colorway. The rest of the shoe takes a stealthy approach with grey and black coloring so as to accentuate the design’s orange hits, complete underfoot with a matching midsole and clear circular air units.

Look for this pair to hit nike.com and select retailers on May 3rd for $160. In the meantime, enjoy official retailer images below and check out the “Royal/Volt” Nike Air Max 1 ’86 releasing on Air Max Day later this month.
