Matt Varga The Nike Zoom Vomero 5 continues to shine as arguably Oregon’s biggest contribution to the retro Y2K wave. Not showing any signs of slowing down soon, the latest pair in “Sail/Yellow” brightens up for the warmer weather just ahead.
This type of harmonic, monochromatic tonality is one we’ve seen plenty before on the Nike Zoom Vomero 5, be it the all-blue, all-tan or all-green editions that have dropped over the past several months. However, outside of their chromed-out versions, pairs that build their foundation on neutral shades are arguably the most synonymous with the line. Following in that lineage, this “Sail/Yellow” formulation is decidedly built for the summer months, dotting an off-white arrangement with hits of yellow outlining the Swoosh, anchoring the laces and peeking out at the forefoot via the outsole.
The Nike Zoom Vomero 5 “Sail/Yellow” will be releasing in women’s sizing, retailing for $160. No concrete date has been announced, but expect these in the coming weeks as Nike’s Summer ’24 slate takes shape.
