The Nike Zoom Vomero 5 is arguably the hottest Y2K-era silhouette in the Beaverton brand’s arsenal, back on the streets in force amidst growing favorability towards retro runners. Most colorways lean on heavy detailing and mixed-media builds to communicate the shoe’s 2000s design language, but monotone designs have surfaced with more and more frequency in recent months.

Previous red, blue, and gold looks are now supplemented by a new “Pistachio” pair, fitting seamlessly within Nike’s selection of pastel-oriented lifestyle shoes for Spring 2024. This delivery follows the precedent set by previous monotone colorways with synthetic TPU overlays over a mesh base, both of which come draped in light green on this installment.
