NYC’s Biggest Air Max Enthusiasts Gather At WOODstack To Feel The Unreal With Dynamic Air

NYC’s Biggest Air Max Enthusiasts Gather At WOODstack To Feel The Unreal With Dynamic Air

Since its inception in 2014, Air Max Day has been a driving force in keeping the culture of Air at a high level, doing so by delivering the perfect package of innovation and street style in shoe form. The Air Max Dn is an exemplar of that mission: featuring the new Dynamic Air, which is inspired by the properties of 1998’s Tuned Air, the Air Max Dn boasts unreal comfort through its uniquely tuned Air cushion that features uneven psi levels that contribute to a better ride.

There’s a lot of reason to celebrate the Air Max Dn, so Nike partnered up with NY-based retailer WOODstack to celebrate the newest chapter of the Air Max legacy. On the evening of March 26th, WOODstack hosted over three-hundred Air Max fanatics at their Flatbush location for an immersive Air Max Dn experience. Visitors got a first look at the Air Max Dn in three colorways next to a huge “AIR” balloon display. Complimentary food by Bodega Truck and refreshments by Lips Cafe were also available for those who were lucky to RSVP to the highly-anticipated event.

The highlight of the night was a special panel that discussed Air Max culture and the newest member of the family, the Air Max Dn. Hosted by Miabelle Bocicault of HOT97 and WBLS 107.5, the panel featured insight from John Kim, Editor-In-Chief of Sneaker News; Marika Brown, Stylist; Will Debord, Managing Director at Sneaker Con; Dexter Batiste, Community Relations at WOODstack. Concluding the panel was a special giveaway of the Air Max Dn, with each winner hand-selected by each panel member. The only criteria for entering the giveaway? Wear AIR.

Air Max was, is, and will always be an integral part of street fashion, and the incredible turn-out at WOODstack was evidence that culture and community will respond to great product. The good news is that Air Max Dn is just the beginning of Dynamic Air, so we can’t wait to see what Nike has coming as Air continues to evolve.
