The Air Jordan 6 “Paris Olympics” is a special edition sneaker release inspired by the upcoming Summer games in France. Going outside of a typical Olympic-themed approach, Jordan Brand decorates this upcoming drop with a soft palette of colors with an elegant pearl-like lace dubrae added to the base of the laces. Golden accents appear on the lace-locks and the midsoles, while an icy blue provides a soothing effect on the translucent outsole. Currently, a release is expected for August 7th, 2024; see our Jordan Release Dates page for the latest.

Updated May 21st, 2024: A first lookm at the Air Jordan 6 “Paris Olympics” has been revealed. Currently, a release date is expected on August 7th, 2024.

With the upcoming Olympics Games in Paris set to commence with the opening ceremonies on July 26th, the athletic sportswear world is finally ready to unleash its commemorative product that have been in the plans for years. Jordan Brand is among the imprints that will have heavy activity in this global sporting event; catapulted by Michael Jordan’s involvement in 1992’s Dream Team, the Jumpman has been at the forefront of its storytelling through various sneaker releases — a tradition that will most certainly continue this Summer/Fall in Paris.

Among the catalog of Olympics and Paris-themed footwear and apparel releases is this women’s Air Jordan 6 Retro possessing a formula of Pure Platinum, Glacier Blue, Metallic Gold, and Coconut Milk. Already, you can expect something unlike previous “Olympic” Jordans that relied heavily on the primary colors of the Olympic Rings. Rather, Jordan Brand is going in an elegant direction that will likely be inspired by Parisian culture.

Given the magnitude of the Olympics Games, Jordan Brand will likely go above and beyond with this Air Jordan 6 and its other sneaker releases, so expect a full-service execution that includes unique detailing, custom packaging, precious hangtags, and other accoutrement typical of the occasion. Furthermore, Jordan Brand’s ongoing relationship with Paris Saint-Germain football club only suggests that Jordan Brand is looking to make a splash in the heart of France later this year.

According to @zsneakerheadz, an official release date is now expected for August 7th, 2024. Below is a speculative mock-up of this women’s exclusive release; it should not be indicative of the final product whatsoever, but it helps to visualize the official colors on the silhouette.

Stay tuned for more updates on our Jordan Release Dates page.
